Out for groceries with The Princess last week before the cold spell. As much as I’d love to use every occasion out of the house to dress up, I can’t quite bring myself to do it, so I try to enjoy the outfit as much as I can without feeling silly. High heeled but otherwise casual boots, a cute hat and a jacket I wouldn’t normally wear made the outfit feel more fun than just a turtleneck and jeans.

As blah as the outfit is, The Princess still remarked that ‘you know we’re just going to the grocery store, right?’ Men!
