I wore this out for dinner with The Princess. We went out pretty early, which for me is a bit weird for dressing. Dinner is dressier than lunch, but dinner in daylight is less dressy than dinner by candlelight. I put my contact lenses in, but went really light on my makeup (mascara and lip gloss).

I made this top 5 or 6 years ago; it’s one of those super easy patterns that takes about 2 hours to sew from start to finish. It isn’t really meant to be tucked in but I think it works.

I’m trying to train my hands to wear rings. I can usually feel the ring between my fingers, which drives me nuts, so I’ve been looking for rings that have a thin band. So far I’ve found 2 rings I like that don’t feel gross, but I still find myself fiddling with them constantly. They do look awesome though.

This was my first pair of designer shoes. I bought them about 15 years ago, before I had even heard of Christian Louboutin. They were on clearance at Holt Renfrew in Toronto and I thought the red sole was gorgeous. Somehow, The Princess has never seen them but now that he has – he LOVES them. I have other Louboutin’s which he’s seen, so it isn’t the red sole that grabs him, maybe the witchy pointy toe? No idea, but for him these have become the pair.
